DRYPoint etching from scratch

A taster day with professional printmaker Theresa Pateman to learn the basics of drypoint etching.

Tea and coffee provided, please bring your own lunch • Limited to six participants • £50 per person including all materials

Whether you are returning to printmaking, working on a project, or starting from scratch, Theresa will work with you to create your drypoint etchings. Come and try it out with step-by-step help. 

Theresa is a highly-skilled printmaker and an excellent teacher of all things print. She runs her own etching studios in Kingsgate Workshops in Kilburn and teaches printmaking at Hampstead School of Art. She is a member of Southbank Printmakers artists-run gallery, Printmakers Council, and Swansea Print Workshop. She exhibits throughout the UK including the Royal Academy, Mall Galleries, and the Barbican. Her work features in collections at the V&A, Metropolitan University, Scarborough Art Gallery Archive and worldwide.

Suitable for adults with no printmaking experience, but all levels are very welcome. Bring protective clothing and ideas, sketchbooks and photos if you have them – but not essential.
